Bold was founded by Tihamér Tóth and Péter Tordai, both are heavily armed with 18+ years of experience in brand, business and creative strategy developments, delivered for companies like Unilever, Vodafone, Procter and Gamble, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Deutsche Telekom, VW, Raiffeisen, Telenor, MOL, Pfizer and many more.
In 2015 they decided to create Bold, with the vision to be more business focused than advertising agencies and more idea-driven than consulting companies.
What also makes Bold unique is the firm believe that it is better to be in the value adding
than in the resource-selling business.

A New Level of Social Listening
About
In the project financed from the NRDI Fund, a tool called Rational & Emotional Map has been developed. The REM uses complex text mining based on AI methods to provide an overview of a topic or a brand and its competitors based on publicly accessible content. Our tool offers a new level of understanding of people's online footprint.
Project duration: 01.07.2021 - 30.06.2021.
The Tool
The REM identifies the discourse built around a topic or brand based on keywords and pages. Sources include social media posts and comments, news portals, forums, blogs, and any interface where people communicate online about the topic or brand.Our tool combines state-of-the-art text mining solutions, such as LDA topic modeling, neural network-based vector space models, and transformer-based supervised classification. Compared to other industry solutions, our customers can get a much more complex picture of their brand's position and competitors in the online space.Approaches
1) On one hand, REM examines how companies appear in the online space. The tool identifies the essential sources, the relevant issues, and the volume of online appearances. Online communication is also examined from the perspective of paid/unpaid media, customers, and service providers. The analysis is supported by a comparative analysis of Instagram and YouTube platforms.2) Our tool offers a topic-based analysis as well. Examining border topics (like sustainability or smart homes) helps brands to understand how specific topics appear in the online space, which are the main channels of discussion, and which brands are mentioned within the discourse.
Outcomes
Among others, our tool includes the following elements:
- the appearance of brands in the online space (mentions by topics, temporal analysis, top contents, reactions),
- study of brand's communication,
- analysis of communication paths between customers and companies,
- identification of detractor events,
- quantitative and qualitative analysis of complaints,
- analysis of sentiments and emotions in comments,
- strategic map of brand goals and positions taken in the online space

A Bold Ideas a Nemzeti Kutatási és Innovácós Hivatal KKV-START-2021 programjában kapott támogatást a „Bold Rational and Emotional Map” nevű projektjére. A projekt összköltsége 32 906 640 forint volt, amelyből a támogatási összeg 19 743 984 forintot tett ki. A fejlesztés 2022 június végén zárult le.
A projekt alapvető célja az volt, hogy a közösségi médiában zajló megnyilvánulásokról mély és pontos értelmezést kapjanak a piaci szereplők. A Bold által megalkotott eszköz két oldalról vizsgálja az online világot - feltérképezi a téma/márka szempontjából fontos kommunikációs területeket és egy érzelem térkép segítségével képet ad arról, hogy a fogyasztók hogyan reagálnak ezekre a témákra. Az eszköz, egy többlépcsős, vizsgált témához igazított adatfeldolgozási folyamat során kiszűri a márka szempontjából irreleváns tartalmakat és egy innovatív módszertani keretrendszerben értelmezi az adatokat. Az egyedi módszertant olyan innovatív megoldások támogatják, mint a mesterséges intelligenciára támaszkodó neurális háló alapú szóbeágyazási modellek és a legújabb transzformer alapú nyelvi eszközök használata.
Ezekkel a módszerekkel a hagyományos adatokon és statisztikákon túl (pl.: engagement számok, szógyakoriságok) azonosítani és vizsgálni lehet a márka szempontjából leginkább releváns dimenziókat. Ez a megközelítés nem csak a vizsgált márka- és versenytárspozíciók összevetését teszi lehetővé, hanem azt is megmutatja, hogy hol vannak a kommunikációs térben olyan üres területek, amelyek mentén új márkacélok építhetők. A Bold eszköze egy hazai piacon újszerű, mély és szofisztikált támogatást tud nyújtani a márkaépítés, a kommunikáció és az innováció területein.
